Monitoring Additional Time Frames:
HotScans allows you to view multiple time periods at once. For example, you can see stocks Rallying Now for the last 5 minutes and their performance for the previous 20 minutes at the same time. If the last 5 minutes is your primary scan, then the table will be sorted by the percent price increase of stocks in the last 5 minutes.

To run a scan, select a preset scan. For example, selecting "Rallying Now" will display stocks with the best increase in price over the last 5 minutes. You can then change your primary scan period by using the "Change Scan's Period" drop down menu, say to 10 minutes. You can also add an additional time period to view by using the "Select Previous Period" drop down menu, say to 30 minutes.

As an additional option, you can view how the same stocks are performing for the day, since the previous day's close. To do so, click on the "Display Daily Gauges" box. Then hit "Run Scan". You will now have three time periods displayed at once. Stocks Rallying Now for the last 10 minutes, along with their performance for the last 30 minutes, and the full day.
